Government Funded Childcare at Bexley Bears Preschool
At Bexley Bears Preschool, we offer funded childcare places for eligible children aged 9 months to 4 years. Our funding options are designed to support working families and ensure every child can access high-quality early years education.
We offer both 15-hour and 30-hour funded childcare options, depending on eligibility, and our friendly team is always happy to help parents understand which funding route is right for them.
FUNDING OPTIONS EXPLAINED
Funding eligibility is determined by the Government and may change over time. We currently accept the following funding streams:

Optional charges are entirely voluntary and do not affect access to funded childcare places.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. We do not currently charge deposits for funded childcare places.
Can I split my funding across providers?
Yes. Funding can often be shared across more than one Ofsted registered provider.
What if I don't qualify for 30 hours?
Most children aged 3 and 4 are eligible for 15 hours universal funding.
How do I apply for funded childcare?
You can apply through the Government Childcare Choices website and provide your eligibility code to us once approved.
